Bore Sighting
What is Bore Sighting?
Bore Sighting is done by projecting a laser beam through the barrel of a rifle. The scope is then adjusted until it lines up almost perfectly with the projected beam. Bore sighting a new scope or red dot sight saves time and ammunition.
Will my rifle shoot perfect bulls eyes after it is bore sighted?
No. Bore sighting will get your shots on target. You will then have to make minor windage and elevation adjustments when live firing your rifle for the first time.
Is bore sighting available at Gunther Guns?
Yes. You can have your scope, laser or red dot sight bore sighted at a distance of up to 100 yards right here at our facility.
How much does it cost to bore sight my rifle?
We charge $25 to bore sight your rifle. In most cases the process can be completed in just one business day.
